Patsy Gaskin Neskaug, age 69, of Trussville, AL went into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior on April 25, 2012. She was a member of Trussville First Baptist Church. Patsy was born on January 17, 1943 in Wartburg, TN. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Marion Aytes Neskaug; daughters Angie Sinclair (Don), Amy Dombroski, and Jennifer Robinson (Shannon). She loved and was beloved by six grandchildren: Rachel Sinclair, Andrew Sinclair, Katie Dombroski, John Dombroski, Parker Robinson, and Caroline Robinson. She is also survived by siblings: Sue McDaniel and George Gaskin (Cathy), three half-sisters, and one half-brother. Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Tressie Gaskin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, two half-brothers and one-half sister. Patsy had a passion for reading and teaching God's Word. She started a women's Bible study called The Yahweh Sisters. This group started a ministry for The Lovelady Center. Every month they have birthday parties for the women. Patsy would make cupcakes and pray blessings over each one. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 30 at 2:00 p.m. at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville with visitation from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held at Jefferson Memorial Gardens following funeral. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to The Lovelady Center, 7916 2nd Avenue South, Birmingham, AL 35206. The family would like to give special thanks to friends, neighbors, The Yahweh Sisters, Judy Bacon's Sunday School Class, Bea Hunter, Amy Berry and Brenda St. John of Alacare Hospice for their love and support during her illness.
