Patsy Chitty

Patsy Ruth Chitty, 79, of Chalkville, Alabama was born on December 6, 1937 to the late William Lawrence and Nellie Edith Montgomery and she passed away on January 21, 2017. Patsy was a loving member of First Baptist Church of Chalkville. She is survived by her brother, Richard Montgomery (Ann) of Cleveland, AL; her son, George Coleman Chitty (Kay) of Chalkville, AL; her daughter, Lisa Chitty Hayes of Birmingham, AL; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; husband and friend, Harvey Gerald Chitty; and numerous friends and extended family. She is preceded in death by her parents and her son, Dean Chitty. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to all the wonderful nurses, aids, chaplain, social worker and all of St. Vincent's East Hospice. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 24, at 12pm at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville. A visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East.
