Patsy Burns

Patsy Ruth Hurd Burns, 87, a beloved sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, January 20, 2021. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 28th at 2:00 p.m. at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville, Alabama. The graveside service will be officiated by Reverend Justin Milliken of Hepzibah Baptist Church of Talladega, Alabama. Patsy was preceded in death by her husband Tom Burns and her grandson, Donald Anderson. She was greatly loved by her family and everyone who knew her. She leaves behind her sister, Linda Clark; her daughter, Gwen Grigsby (Howard) and sons, Tommy (B.J.) and Roland (Sarah) Burns; also, three grandchildren, five great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Patsy grew up in Birmingham and retired from St. Vincent’s Hospital. Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home will direct the service.
