Patricia Annette Stone, age 70, of Gardendale passed away on Friday, December 26, 2014. She was a member of Gardendale First Baptist for several years. Annette was employed by Alabama Power as a sales associate, where she held the position of number one in sales for a number of years; she retired from Alabama Power after 37 years of service. She was a fan of Auburn football and loved camping and traveling. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Anitha Stone. Annette is survived by her brother, Danny Stone (Rita); nephews, Brody Stone (Jane Ann) and Tyler Stone (Rachel); one great nephew and two great nieces; her aunts, Kitty Richardson, Betty Jo Pinkardton (Ronnie) and Judy Thompson; ten cousins; her closest friend for many years, Mary Barnwell and a host of many other dear friends. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 30th at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 12:00 p.m. at the Jefferson Memorial Chapel. Burial will immediately follow the chapel service at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Pastor George Weeks is officiating. Jefferson Memorial in Trussville will be directing the services.
