Patricia Blakley

Patricia (Patsy) Blakley, 72, passed away on February 21, 2024, in Birmingham, Alabama.

Patricia Blakley was born on February 8, 1952 in Birmingham, AL, to Tommy Joe Blakley Sr. and Lois Hurst Blakley.

Patsy graduated from Woodlawn High School in 1970 and attended The University of Montevallo. She started her career in Insurance Services and went on to work for Continental Insurance and later Alfa Insurance in Vestavia Hills from where she retired.

Patsy is survived by her siblings Pam Blakley Schaf (John), Becky Blakley Fant (Frank), and Tommy Joe Blakley Jr. (Teresa). She is also survived by her Nephews and Niece Shea Fant Smith, John Scott Schaf, Jake Blakley, Austin Blakley, Cade Smith, Travis Blakley, and Bryson Blakley. Patsy is preceded in death by Tommy Joe Blakley Sr. - father, Lois Hurst Blakley - mother, Tommy Joe Blakley III (T.J.)- nephew, and Brandon Blakley-nephew.

Patsy never met a stranger and will always be remembered as a special person in the lives of all who knew her.

Pallbearers will be Grady Blakley, Chip Hurst, John Scott Schaf, Jake Blakley, Austin Blakley, Richard Pate and Cade Smith.

Visitation will be Saturday from 11:00 AM to12:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home with a graveside service to follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Lamar West will officiate.
