Otis Thompson

Otis Earl Thompson, 75, of Trussville, passed away Thursday, November 14, 2019, surrounded by his family. Otis was a devoted husband and father. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dan and Louise Thompson, sister Danolene Bryant, and brother, Gene Thompson. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Barbara; his sons Darren (Susan), Aaron (Nicki), Brien Ellard (Lori); his daughters Kelly, Hollie (Sam); his brother Bobby (Judy); and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation will be from Noon until 1pm Thursday, November 21, with graveside services following at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the ASPCA.
