Oren Mckinney

Oren Ralph McKinney, age 82 of Trussville, AL passed away on August 28, 2016. He was a member of Liberty Church. He worked with McWane Cast Iron Pipe and he also retired from Sears after 30 years of service. He loved to fish and to bowl. He is preceded in death by his parents, John Elwyn McKinney and Mary Elizabeth Smith McKinney, brothers, J.E., Billy, Donnie and Fred McKinney and his sister, Mary Lou Jensen. He is survived by his wife. Dorothy S. McKinney; daughters, Phyllis M. Smith and Daphne M. Brunn (Paul); grandchildren, Morgan Smith, Anthony Smith, Charli Smith and Victoria Brunn; great grandchildren, Za McGowan and Tori Smith; sisters, Merilyn Kynard (Ren), Nelda McKinney and Linda Gail Jensen (Bobby) and several nieces and nephews. Services will be on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at 10 AM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be an hour prior to services. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Rev. Bruce Terry will be officiating over the services. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
