Ollous Mcdade

Ollous Clanton McDade was born on September 11, 1922 and the Lord took him home on Saturday, May 25, 2019. He received an Honorable Discharge as an Airplane and Engine Mechanic from the Army in 1946. Ollous was a faithful member of Primitive Baptist Church for 69 years and a current member of Vestavia Primitive Baptist for the past 15 years. He was happily married to Margaret Dobbins McDade for 75 years before her going home to the Lord in January of 2017. He was also preceded in death by his parents Lonnie and Cindy McDade; his son, Richard Dean McDade; his brothers Cheslie McDade, Stanley J. McDade; and sister, Geraldine McDade Poynter. He is survived by his nephew, Greg L. McDade (Kimberly) of Guntersville; niece, Myra McDade Cole (Gary) of Carbon Hill; niece-in-law, Debbie Brazzel of Gardendale. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 28 at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville from 1-2pm. Funeral service will follow the visitation at 2pm in the Chapel at Jefferson Memorial, with Bro. Sam Bryant officiating.
