Norma Merritt

Norma Merritt,

age 87, of Lincoln, AL and formerly of Jefferson County, AL passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2013. She was a long-time member of Lakeside Baptist Church and former member of South Roebuck Church. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Hubert Merritt. Norma is survived by her son, Lanny Merritt (Patsy), of Talledega, AL; daughter, Linda Crowley (Rick), of New Albany, IN; sister, Margaret King, of Springville, AL; five grandchildren: Jeffery Crowley (Alison), Andrea Lewis (Michael), of Wheaton, IL, Christina Quick (Scott), of Daphine, AL, Jennifer Griffin (Robby), of Helena, AL, Lani Merrit (Brad Lienning), of Minneapolis, MN; eight great grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and five step-great grandchildren. She is also survived by nephew, W. C. Merrit (Sonya), of Pascagoula, MS; nieces, Judy Pickens (Charles), of Mississippi, Deb Dargen (Randy), of Pinson, AL, and Dianne Lee Hunter (Scott), of Springville, AL.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Sat., Sept. 28th at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Burial will immediately follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Reverend Mike McLemore is officiating. Jefferson Memorial in Trussville directing.
