Norma Johnson

Norma Faye Lovvorn Johnson, of Birmingham, AL passed away on July 24, 2012. She most recently resided at Cook Springs Retirement Home. she was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Lovvorn and Bessie Lovvorn Hess; sister, Jackie Blackwood; and daughter, Pamela Johnson Nelson. Faye is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Herman L. Johnson; son, Kenneth W. Johnson (Sherry) of Trussville; three grandchildren, Daryl W. Johnson(Christie), Brandon Nelson (Katie), Daisy Johnson Stilwell of Birmingham; and 6 great grandchildren. Faye was a member of Fourth Avenue Baptist Church, East Lake where she worked in the nursery and was church librarian. Services will be held on Thursday July 27, 2012 from 12pm-1:00pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home with a graveside service immediately following at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East.
