Nicky Reed

Nicky Lamont Reed, Sr. age 67, of Trussville, honorable husband, father, and loving Pops went to be with the Lord on Sept. 4, 2009. Nicky is survived by his wife of 47 years Patricia, son Monty, and daughters Cindy Walker (Jeff Walker), Carla Dillard (Mark Dillard), Connie Stovall (David Stovall), and ten grandchildren Casey Walker, Daniel Walker, Christina Walker, Carrie Anne Dillard, Cayla Dillard, Nick Dillard, Chrissy Dillard, Jason Stovall, Joseph Stovall, Jonathan Stovall.

He was a graduate of Hueytown High School in 1960. He is remembered by many as a very hard working and generous man. He loved family vacations, Auburn football, and just spending time with his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed.

On Sunday Sept. 6 we will be welcoming friends from 12:30 until 2:00 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville. Funeral services will be held immediately following this time of visitation.
