Neysa Lucas

Neysa Gayle Lucas, 74, passed away on April 14, 2021. Before retiring, Neysa spent time as an Elderfriend Coordinator for SonRise Health Ministries. In retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her best friend and companion, Gerald Stricklin, traveling, playing golf, listening to audio books, and sitting on the porch listening to the birds sing.

Mrs. Lucas is preceded in death by her parents, Mallie Irene Hawkins and James Raymond Hawkins; her sister, Glenda Crawford, and her husband Frank Lucas (SCPO, U.S. Navy). She is survived by her sister, Karen Hawkins Murphy; companion Gerald Sticklin; son, Jesse Lucas; daughter, Kristin Julbert (Major Dwight, U.S. Army retired); stepson, Adam Stricklin; grandchildren, Meighan Julbert, Madelaine Julbert, Alec Julbert, Aidan Julbert, Jacob Brown, Josh Julbert, Yuri Lucas; great grandson, Elliot Vasasiri, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
