Nell Bell

Nell Frances Dickinson Bell, age 98 passed away Dec 11, 2019. Funeral services will be held at Jefferson Memorial East at Noon. Visitation will be from 11am until Noon. Nell was preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert Kenneth Bell, and her sisters Mary D. Adams and Jean D. Daniel, also her niece Virginia McCray and nephew Frank Daniel. Nell was born to Jewell Wheeler and Virginia Webb Dickinson on Oct 17, 1921. She graduated from Ensley High School as an Honor Society member. She attended Birmingham Southern College. Nell retired from South Central Bell after many years of service. She was a member of the DAR Princess Sehoy chapter. Nell was a cradle Episcopalian. She was baptized, confirmed and married at Grace Episcopal Church in Woodlawn. Nell and her husband Bob were members of Grace church for many years. They later moved to St. Michael’s Huffman. Years later when St. Michael’s closed Nell moved to Church of the Holy Cross Trussville. Nell is survived by her niece Libby Adams Chambers, nephew John McCray, niece Alyce Daniel and her sister in law Johnnie Bell, also other nieces and nephews. Also a host of Great and Great Great nieces and nephews.  In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to Church of the Holy Cross  90 Parkway Drive, Trussville, AL 35173
