Nannie Owings Cargo, age 85, of Birmingham, AL, formerly of Tarrant City, AL, went to be with the Lord on October 20, 2011. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Sam W. Cargo; daughter, Nancy Worthington (Al); son, Sam O. Cargo (Robyn) of Knoxville, TN; four grandchildren, Allison Gooch (Burton), Justin Worthington, Katie Cargo, & Sam Cargo; two great grandchildren, Maggie & Coleson Gooch, and numerous extended family and loved ones. Services will be held on Monday, October 24, 2011 at 12:00PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service time. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
