Myra Nichols

Myra Jean Nichols, 90, of Birmingham, passed away on April 13, 2021.  Her family was blessed to be able to be with her during her last days.   She was a member of Valley East Baptist Church.   Myra was a devoted housewife and mother.  Her husband Walton Newton Nichols previously passed. Myra and Walton had 3 children, 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Eleanor Nichols Morgan & Judith Joiner, Son in law Charles Morgan, Daughter in law Susan Elaine Nichols – Son James Walton Nichols previously passed.  Grandchildren are Angela Zimmerman, Misty Bradshaw, Heather Joiner Johnson, Stephanie Joiner, Amanda Joiner, Mark Joiner, Sharon Nichols, Grace Nichols Robinson and James Patrick Nichols who previously passed.  She had 6 Great Grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 17 from 11:00 – 12:00 at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville.  The graveside service will begin at 12:00 at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to local foodbanks.
