REID, MYLES DAVID Myles David Reid, age 54, of Westover passed away Saturday, August 28, 2010. David is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Gwen Reid; daughter, Devon Brook Reid-Hale: son, Myles David Reid, Jr.; cherished grandchildren Molly and Max; loving mother, Bobbie Pilkington; sister, Jenny Johnson and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. David was preceded in death by his father, Arlyn Reid. David is a longtime resident of Shelby County. David was a faithful brotherhood member of IBEW Local 136. David leaves behind many dear friends and will be sorely missed. The family will receive friends at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville at 1 pm, Friday, September 3, 2010. Funeral service will be held at 2 pm, on Friday. Burial at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Brother Allan Murphy officiating. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
