Mauline Sloan

Mauline Norris Sloan age 97 of Birmingham passed away Monday March 23, 2020 at Diversicare of Oneonta, She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Paul N. Sloan. She was also preceded in death by her parents, R. D. and Joyce Norris and sisters, Doris Frances, Mildred Lindsey, twin sister, Maurine Drake, Louise Grizzard and Margie Goodwin. Mauline is survived by her son, Richard Sloan (Betty) and daughter, Becki Arnold (Steve); grandchildren, Richard Sloan II, Crystal Sloan, Zac Arnold and Alyson (Ken) Seaman; great grandchildren, Kane Myers, Devin Monroe, Blaine and Brady Seaman and Macy Arnold. She was a long time member of 85th Street Baptist Church/Deerfoot Baptist Church. For many years she was the Nursery Coordinator at 85th Street Baptist Church. The family would like to thank Diversicare for their excellent care and service to Mauline. Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville and will be officiated by Rev. Glenn Sandifer.
