Mozelle Mcpherson

Mozelle Gause McPherson, born on December 10, 1917 in Bullock County AL to J.W. and Ethel Gause died on July 22, 2012. She was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, John C. McPherson, infant daughter Nadine, two brothers and one sister. She was the beloved mother of Penny McPherson of Odenville, Tammy Powell (Jeff) and grandmother of William McPherson Powell all of Trussville. Also surviving are sisters, Dot Roberts of Panama City, FL, Hellen Paulk (Thomas) of Montgomery, sister-in-law Dean McPherson Green of McDonough, GA and numerous nieces and nephews. Mozelle was a long-time member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church and a resident of St. Martins in the Pines for the last five years. She will be remembered by her family and friends for her kind and loving spirit. Her legacy is written in the hearts and lives of those she touched. Services will be on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at 12:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be an hour prior to services. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a favorite charity. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
