Mona Wadsworth

Mona Porche Wadsworth, 94, a native of Houma, LA and resident of Birmingham, AL, passed away on May 1, 2022.

Mrs. Wadsworth is survived by her daughters, Ginger Wadsworth Hurd of Clay, AL and Eugenia Wadsworth Martin (Will) of Utica, MS; granddaughter, Holley Hurd Moore of Vestavia Hills, AL; and great-granddaughter, Rebecca Ellen Moore.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Floyd Eugene Wadsworth; her parents, Howard Paul Porche and Hattie LeCompte, both of Houma, LA.

Mona was a wonderful loving Mother and Grandmother. She was a homemaker, fantastic baker, and gardener. She was beautiful inside and out. She will be buried next to her beloved husband in the Abbey Mausoleum  at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville on Friday, May 6, at 2:00PM.
