Mitchell Ray

Mr. Mitchell Ray, 66, of Leeds passed away on August 20, 2017. Mitchell was a graduate of Auburn University, retired from O'Neal Steel after 25 years of service, enjoyed motorcycle riding, and was an avid gun enthusiast. Most importantly, he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clifford Ray and Glema Dunn Ray. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Dottie Ray, daughter, Susan R. Moss (David), son, Jonathan M. Ray (Lacie), grandchildren, Joshua and Abigail Moss and Devyn Ray, and siblings, Charles Ray (Joan), Sandra Grindle (James), and Bobby Ray (Diane). A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville. The funeral service will begin at 2:00pm from the funeral home chapel with Reverend Norman LeCroy officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East.
