Mildred Key Thomas

Funeral Services for Mrs. Mildred Key Thomas, age 94 of Birmingham, will be held on Monday, January 20, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Pat Worsham officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining gardens. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20, 2025 from 1:00 P.M. until service time at 2:00 P.M. at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. 

 Mrs. Thomas (Mamaw) was born on October 30, 1930, to Mack Key and Cora Mae Boissell. Throughout her life she touched the hearts of many and her legacy lives on through her family. 

 Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, Mack and Cora Mae; her husband, Robert Thomas; her daughter, Carolyn Thomas; and her siblings, John Key, Joyce Sertell and Evelyn Hardwick. 

 She is survived by her three grandchildren, six great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. Lee Ann Worsham, Jordan de la cruz (Joseph); Cassie Reed (Stacy), Taylor Luna (Nick), Piper, Booker; Peyton Reed; Carson Weinreich (Erick), Adelyn, Harper, Miller; and Pat Worsham (Alice), Sydney and Lucas.
