Mildred Lloyd

Mildred Elizabeth Lloyd, 91, of Birmingham passed away April 24, 2014. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, George Lloyd. She is survived by her sons, Steve Lloyd (Mary), Rick Lloyd (Kelly); four grandchildren, Gary (Jessica), Lindsay (Jesse), Jamie, David; her brother, A.D. Darby; and her sister, Martha Sue Shelton of Orlando, FL. Special thanks to the caring folks at St. Martins In The Pines. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made in her name to the charity of your choice. Visitation will be Monday, April 28 from 9-10:00 AM at Jefferson Funeral Home. The service will begin at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Mary Anne Akin officiating followed by the burial in the adjoining cemetery. Jefferson Memorial in Trussville directing.
