Mike Corona

Mike A. "Mickey" Corona, of Pinson, was born July 22, 1932, and passed away June 4, 2012. He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years Margie P. Corona, parents Salvatore and Rosa Lee Corona, sister Veta Fowler and brother Joe Corona. He is survived by his wife Betty Cannon Corona, children Michael A. Corona, Denise Merrifield, Sam (Lisa) Corona, Terry Corona, Gina (Lynn) Fox, stepdaughter Cathy Lovelace, grandchildren Carley (Pedram), Patrick, Jessica (Jonathan), Samantha, Luke, Kaitlyn, Noah and step granddaughters Candace and Ashley, brother Morris Corona, several nieces and nephews. He retired from Frisco Railroad after 45 years. Officiating will be Ron Pate, Donny Holly, and Randy Cherry. Visitation will be from 5pm until 7pm Thursday. Services will be held on Friday, June 8, at 11am in the Chapel with burial in Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
