Mickie Wiggins

Mickie Lynn Wiggins, age 63, passed away October 15, 2019. Mickie graduated from Ensley High School and majored in English and Creative Writing at Jefferson State. She was a published author who enjoyed writing poetry and birdwatching. She was preceded in death by her father Harold C. Wiggins, Sr., mother Lillian H. Ballew Elrod Wiggins, and sister Diana C. Elrod Higgins (James). She is survived by her sisters Jackie C. Elrod Sutton (Loyd), Shelia F. Wiggins Smith Mau (Joseph Mau), Tina S. Wiggins Lavies (David), brother Harold C. Wiggins Jr., 7 nephews and 2 nieces.  A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, Oct 22, at 10am at Mt. Calvary Presbyterian Church 9392 Cedar Mountain Road Pinson, Al with Pastor Phil Rich officiating. In lieu of flowers make donations to National Arbor Foundation.
