Michaele Barrow Travis, 66, born on September 12, 1955, went to be with her Lord suddenly on March 18, 2022. She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Gerry Travis; her two children, Hunter Barrow and Reed Barrow; her three step-children, Leigh Travis, Jonathan (Dana) Travis, Joy Travis; she was a proud "Emmie" to seven grandchildren, Hope Travis, Hudson, Penelope and Philomena Barrow, Jackson, Milton Ryder and Taje Travis; one great-grandchild, Ezra Doss; as well as her sibling, Li Reznick. She was preceded in death by her mother Marian Webb. Michaele also leaves behind her well-crafted extended 'family' made up of friends whom she wove together effortlessly and loved unconditionally. Michaele was raised in Homewood, AL, attended Shades Valley High School, attended University of Montevallo, received her degree from the University of Alabama, and was a member of Chi Omega sorority-as well as acting as an advisor for the Chi Omega chapter at Samford University. Michaele was an accomplished artist, owner of Michaele Travis Interior Design, an incredibly talented hostess with an incomparable Southern charm and flair. She shared her talents with a multitude of organizations and efforts that meant the most to her. The family will have a Visitation on Wednesday, March 23rd at the Church of the Highlands at Grants Mill from from 11am-1pm in the Chapel with prayer and scripture starting at 1pm.
