Michael Giardina

Michael Giardina, age 70, of Birmingham passed away on July 9, 2019. He was born on February 1, 1949 to Felix and Helen Giardina. Michael was an Army veteran who served during the Vietnam War. He was a big fan of Alabama football. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with family. He enjoyed holidays and family get together, especially Christmas. He was preceded in death by his parents. Michael is survived by his loving wife, Darlene Giardina; his daughter, Heather Johnston; step-son, Brian English; step-daughter, Stacey Wells; one granddaughter, Trinity Johnston; sisters, Cindy Evans (Perry), Jennifer Davis (Andy) and Sandra Hunt; one brother, Phillip Giardina (Katie). A funeral for Michael will be held at Jefferson Memorial Chapel on Friday, July 12th at 12:00 p.m. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
