Michael Thomas Maloney, age 68, of Birmingham, AL passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2014. Michael was born in Ohio and spent most of his life in New York. He enjoyed traveling to Gulf Shores with his wife and watching and playing golf. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Thomas Maloney and Edythe Hawkins Maloney. Michael is survived by his loving wife, Cherry Phillips Maloney; sons, Joshua Michael Maloney and his loving girlfriend, Casey and Sean Michael Maloney and his loving girlfriend, Regina; daughter, Caitlyn Anne Maloney; step-daughters, Amy Wynn Prescott and her fianceI�, Matthew Hunter, and Caitlin Faith Prescott and her fianceI�, Briant Thomas Brasher; step-granddaughter, Adalina Grace Brasher. A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Sunday, May 25th at Jefferson Memorial Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. The family requests that in lieu of flowers please send donations to UAB Callahan Eye Hospital in memory of Michael Thomas Maloney. Jefferson Memorial in Trussville is directing.
