Michael Benge, 70, passed away on February 21, 2023, in Trussville, AL.
Michael Benge was born on August 26, 1952 in Salinas, CA, to AJ Benge and LaVerne Truesdell. Michael graduated from Beat Four High School in 1971. He pursued his work in ministry around the age of 25.
Michael married Darlene Benge on March 31, 1984 in Whites Chapel, AL. The couple had 3 children, Nathan Benge, of Orlando, FL, Katie Benge, of Trussville, and Matthew Benge, of Pell City.
Michael was best known for his life of faith and his love for family. He always loved to tell a good story.
Michael is survived by Darlene Benge - wife, of Trussville, LaVerne Truesdell - mother, of Harrison, AR, Nathan Benge - son, of Orlando, FL, Katie Benge - daughter, of Trussville, Matthew Benge - son, of Pell City, Patricia Hedden - sister, of Racine, WI, Nelson West - brother, of Everton, AR, Heather Benge - daughter-in-law, Nash Benge - grandson, Nora Benge - granddaughter, Lindsay Benge - daughter-in-law, David Hedden - brother-in-law, Chad Hedden - nephew, Brent Hedden - nephew, Melissa West - sister-in-law, Madison Evert - niece, Gary and Annette Smith - beloved friends, Brent and Sherry Smith - beloved friends, Arthur Jacobs - uncle, Lenis Sims - uncle, Linda Sims - aunt, Rickey Ollis - cousin, Ronnie Benge - cousin, Vi Jacobs - aunt, Junie Cantrell - aunt, and numerous cousins.
Michael is preceded in death by AJ Benge - father, Albert Benge - grandfather, Verde Benge - grandmother, Wade Sims - grandfather, and Roxie Sims - grandmother.
The service for Mr. Michael Benge will be held on Monday, at 2:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home.

Burial: Jefferson Memorial Gardens East in Birmingham, AL.
