Earl Phillips

Funeral Services for Mr. Earl Phillips, age 72 of Leeds, will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at 12:00 P.M. at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home with Michael Brock and Dr. Richard Trucks officiating. Burial will follow at the adjoining cemetery.

Earl Phillips was born September 18, 1951 and died on July 27, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer. He graduated from Woodlawn High School in 1969 and worked for Alabama power for 43 years. He is preceded in death by his father, Carl W. Phillips and brother, Timothy Phillips. He was a wonderful, loving husband, son, father, grandfather and friend. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Donna G. Phillips, his daughter, Ashley P. Johnson (Phillip), his granddaughter, Sarah Johnson, his mother, Virginia L. Phillips, his brother, Norman Phillips (Charlotte), his brother-in-law, Dennis Gallups (Sandra), his sister-in-law, Susie Goff (David), his nieces, Denise Merritt (Tony), Wendy Phillips, Isabell Goff, Lindsey Gallups, his nephew, Donnie Phillips (Angel), and a host of great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2024 from 11:00 A.M. until service time at 12:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home.
