Mendora Johnson

Mendora Green Tingle Johnson, age 92, of Birmingham, passed away on October 14, 2011. She was born on February 25, 2919 and grew up in AL with 10 brothers and sisters. She was a member of Huffman Baptist Church as well as the Scottish Rite Woman's Association. She was preceded in death by her beloved husbands, Clarence W. "Jack" Tingle and Robert Lecil Johnson. She is survived by her children, Terry (Jodean) Tingle and Tim Tingle (Martha McBride); grandchildren, Melissa (Wayne) Jordan, Leigh Tingle, Shannon (Patrick) Horsley, and Michael (Samantha) Tingle; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Eula Phillips, Louise Fox, Mary Craft, Marian (Del) Graves; and brother, W.C. Green. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 17 at 2:00PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be an hour before the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association in honor of Ms. Johnson. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
