Mayola Allen

Mayola T. Allen, age 87, of Pinson, died July 29, 2013. Mayola was retired from Shannon Drug Company in Springfield TN, and was a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church Pinson, was a loving wife, devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Arthur Lee Allen Jr., her parents May Elizabeth Hart Taylor and Jewell Morgan Taylor. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, Aug 1, at 11am with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Reverends Gary Fisher and Johnny Allred officiating. Visitation will be held from 9am until 11am prior to the graveside service. Survivors: two daughters, Donna A Howard (Jimmy) of Decaturville, TN, and Julia A Hogan (Joe) of Trussville, AL, three sons Daniel Lee Allen of Pinson, William Mike Allen (Jeannie Allred) of Pinson, and John Morgan Allen of Chelsea; one sister Beverly Kay Taylor Navarre (Jim); three grandchildren Michael Jason Allen (Amanda) of Hayden, April Lee Allen Wright (Bobby) of Trussville, and Blake Morgan Allen of Chelsea; one great granddaughter Linlee Morgan Wright; five great grandsons Issac Allen, Samuel Allen, Drew Allen, Joshua Allen, and Rob Wright VI; two nieces Jennifer Navarre and Valerie Penrod.
