Maxine Jan Stephens (62) was loved and respected by her family and friends all around the world. She will be truly missed, because she touched every one of us in some way. She was born May 13th, 1950, in Fort Benning, GA. to Allen & Audrey J Simon. Her father was in the military where she lived in different parts of the world, after his retirement they settled in the state of Washington. She attended Lewis and Clarke High School, in Spokane WA. She attended University of Washington. Afterwards she worked for the state of Washington for 17 years where she attained the position of Financial Benefits Coordinator. In 1996 she quit work to travel with her husband for his work, where they lived in South America for 9 years. In 2005 they resettled in Birmingham, AL where they lived for 7 years. In 2012 they moved to Arlington, TX to be near her son, daughter-in-law, and grand-daughters, where she lived upon her passing. She was preceded in death by her father Allen Simon Sr., mother Audrey J. Simon, beloved daughter Charlene F. Stephens, and brother Allen Simon Sr. Survivors include husband Charlie Stephens Jr., son Earnest S Stephens (Kristy) brother Ronald P Simon (Teresa) granddaughters Trinity, and Arianna, Grandson Earnest Stephens Jr. (Cassandra) great grand children Kaitlin, and Dante. Mother-in-law Mrs. Louise Stephens and family. A host of nieces and nephews, and all of the friends and neighbors here in the USA and around the world.
