Maudie Pike

Maudie Pike, age 93, of Trussville, AL went to be with her Lord on July 1, 2018 surrounded by loved ones. Mrs. Pike, affectionately known as Baudie by her friends and family, was an avid reader, gardener, cook, and sports fan. She loved to have her home full of family and friends. As her children were growing up, meals at the Pike house almost always included her children’s friends: Johnny, Ramona, and Linda. Once she became a grandmother a new set of children filled the seats at her table. Mrs. Pike was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Bertha Little, her husband, Leroy Pike, and her son Charles Randall “Randy” Pike. She is survived by her son, Lynn Pike of Birmingham, AL; her daughter Marti Benson (Ronnie) of Trussville, AL; her granddaughters Amy Davis (Ron) of Muscle Shoals, AL and Holly Pike of Hattiesburg, MS; her grandsons, Ryan Benson (Amber) and Alex Benson of Trussville, AL; and great grandchildren, Adalyn Benson and Cooper Bland “C.B.” Benson.
Family visitation will be Thursday, July 5th from 10 AM-Noon at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home and Gardens in Birmingham, AL with the funeral following in the chapel from noon-1.
