Maudie Kimbrell

Mrs. Maudie B. McDonald Kimbrell, 94 years young, of Gardendale, AL, passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at her home. Mrs. Kimbrell was born December 17, 1920 in Jefferson County, AL to the late James David and Della McDonald and was a lifelong resident of the local community. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Kimbrell; and her brothers and sister, Vera Miskelly and daughter, Joyce K. Chamblee Collins. She is survived by her grandsons, Jack F. Chamblee, Jr, of Charlotte, NC and Mark J. Chamblee of Orange Beach, AL; great grandchildren- Jodi Palmier, Nico Ash, Ethan Chamblee and Ragan Chamblee, as well as many cousins, nephews and nieces.

Services will be on Friday, November 13, 2015 at 12 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be an hour prior to services. The burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
