Mathilda Cooper

Milly Cooper, age 83 of Odenville, AL passed away on August 29, 2015. Milly was a member of Girl Scouts and Wayfarers Alumni. She enjoyed bowling, watching Atlanta Braves Baseball, traveling and visiting her sisters. Milly was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, James W. Cooper, Jr. She is survived by her children: Susan Cooper Scoggins, Karen Cooper Carroll (Tim), James W. Cooper III, and Thomas Cooper (Melanie); a brother, Bill Bode (Gene); sisters: Doris Nunamacher, Katie Coletta, Janet Grabowski, and Marie Bode; thirteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at Jefferson Memorial Chapel in Trussville on Wednesday, Sept. 2nd at 2pm with visitation one hour prior. Burial will immediately follow the chapel service at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Brother Joshua Winslett is officiating. In lieu of flowers please send donations to American Cancer Society.
