Mary Popwell

Mary Sue Popwell was born in Chilton County on July 1, 1926 and passed away on July 3, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Lera Bell Shaneyfelt; her husband, William Alfred Popwell; and her sisters, Claudia Skiff, Helen Popwell, and Betty Greene. She is survived by her children, Roger Dale Popwell (Karen), Bobby S. Popwell (Diane), and Joyce Caldwell (Wayne); her brothers, Franklin Shaneyfelt, and James Shaneyfelt; 4 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. A graveside will be held on Thursday, July 6 at 1pm at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. A visitation will begin one hour prior in the parlor of the funeral home.
