Mary Martin

Mary Ann Chandler Martin, age 84, died November 21, 2015. Born in Jefferson County, Clay Alabama September 30, 1931. She worked for the Telephone Company for 42 years and was involved with the Pioneer organization. She was a member of Mt. Calvary Presbyterian Church. Her great passion was china painting, traveling, and children she considered her own. Preceded in death by her parents Theodore K. and Mamie Lee Chandler, and husband Homer "Bud" Martin, and brother Harry L. Chandler. She is survived by her brother Howard Chandler (Norma), nephews Richard (Debbie) and Jeffrey (Jane) Chandler, nieces Jean and Jane Chandler, Dana Smith and numerous friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 25, 2015 from 12 noon until 2pm with services in the chapel at 2pm. Burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Reverend Phil Rich officiating.
