Mrs. Mary Ruth Lunsford, age 82 of Trussville, formerly of Chattanooga, TN died Monday, 9/23/2013 in Pell City, AL. Mrs. Lunsford was preceded in death by her son, Russell T. Lunsford; her parents, James T. Johnson and Ruth Witt Johnson; her sister, Evelyn Juanita Lawrence and her brother, Jimmy Johnson.Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Raymond E. Lunsford; two sons, Michael R. (Dawn) Lunsford and Mark E. (Sheila) Lunsford; four grandchildren, Lara Lunsford, Brad Lunsford, Melissa Lunsford and Jeremy Lunsford. Funeral services will be 12:00 pm Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, East in Trussville, AL. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the funeral home Burial will follow at the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, AL with Jefferson Memorial East directing.
