Mary Josey

Mrs. Elizabeth Josey, age 78, of Talladega, AL, passed away on May 28, 2015. She was a resident of Birmingham for 40 years and was employed with Genuine Auto Parts for 34 years. After retiring, Mrs. Josey moved back to her hometown of Talladega. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harbert Lloyod Johns and Tiney Watts Johns; and her brother, Lewis Johns. She is survived by her daughter, Denise Garrison (Phil); her sister, Betty Johnson; her brothers, Ray Johns and T.O. Johns; and her granddaughter, Lauren Garrison. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at 12 noon, at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville. A visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association.
