Mary Johnson

Mary H. Johnson, age 95, of Clay, passed away February 20, 2020.  Mrs. Johnson was a longtime member of Huffman United Methodist Church and retired as Church Administrator in 1989 after many years of dedicated service.  She is preceded in deathby her husband, J. Allen Johnson, who adored her for more than 72 years. She is preceded in death by her sons, James Leigh Johnson and Robert Allen Johnson and is survived by her brother, J.W. Hackaday, Jr (Aggie), her son, John J. Johnson (Mary), daughters, Nancy J. Howell (Mardis), Patty J. Ferrara (Chris), Tracy J. Allen (Mark), grandchildren Jennifer J. Toxen(Andy), John Michael Johnson (Jennifer), Jeffrey D. Johnson (Christina), Miranda A. Shotts (Steven), Catherine H. Floyd (Derrick),Joshua Allen Ferrara (Katelyn) and 18 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Services will be Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at 12 noon with visitation at 11:30. Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home and Gardens. In lieu of flowers please make memorials to Huffman United Methodist Church Trustee’s Wish List or to your favorite charity.
