Mary Fulmer

Mary Elizabeth Fulmer, age 93 of Clay, AL passed on June 23, 2013. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church. She loved to travel, dance, play cards, dominoes, working in her flower garden, reading romance novels, and listening to Southern Gospel music. She was an avid Alabama Fan and enjoyed going on cruises. She served on several committees and taught several classes at Eastside Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Ellis Adams Fulmer. She is survived by her son, Phillip Wayne Fulmer and his wife, Frances. Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 from 6 to 8 PM at Eastside Baptist Church. Services will be on Wednesday at 10:00 AM at the church. Burial will follow at Sulpher Springs Baptist Cemetery. Rev. Mark Smith will be officiating over the services. The Fulmer family would sincerely like to thank TLC Skilled Nursing Facility in Oneonta, AL for the care and loving attention that they gave our beloved Mary Fulmer as she battled the disease of Alzheimer's. We can't say enough about the compassion that the staff of RN's, LPN'S, and CNA's gave in making Mary Fulmer's final time on this earth as pain free and as comfortable as humanly possible.
