Mary Lynn Shaw Cooper, age 52, of Warrior, Alabama is rejoicing in Heaven with her Lord today. Her battle with cancer ended on May 10, 2012. Mary Lynn is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Fred H. Cooper III, her mother, Sandra S. Long, Trussville, father Richard Shaw (Janice), Panama City, sister, Lisa Shaw Biggs (Howard), brother, Richard "Chip" Shaw (Laura Anne), Fairhope, Jeff Shaw, Mobile, and Jennifer Shaw Holbrook (Matt), Panama City, and many other family and precious friends. Mary Lynn adored and enjoyed her many nieces and nephews: Sandi, Logan, Lauren, Alex, Reid, Brendan, Eli, Wyatt, Ellie Grace, Brooklyn, and Thomas and Andrea Cook. She was a graduate of Erwin High School and the University of Alabama, Birmingham. Mary Lynn was employed as Certified Public Accountant for Mayer Electric in Birmingham, where she enjoyed many wonderful friends. Mary Lynn was a lover of horses and dogs, but most importantly loved her family. She loved to read, knit, cross-stitch, and cook. She will be greatly missed by her ministry friends of "Life in the Blood Ministry", and her special "Jesus Girlfriends" Donna, Shelia, Judy and Shelby. The family wishes to extend special thanks to Dr. Holiday and Sandy, and the wonderful staff at Trinity Medical Center. She will also be greatly missed by her "cut-up" friend Tommy Dotson. Her family will receive visitors Saturday May 12, at 3pm, Jefferson Memorial, Trussville, Alabama, with a memorial service following at 4pm.
