Mary Brock

Mary Lou Cleveland Brock, age 82, of Birmingham passed away on August 15, 2016. She was raised on the farm in Chigger Hill, Alabama and was a devoted member of the United Methodist Church. She attended Birmingham Business College and began her first job with the Birmingham Chamber of Commerce. She went on to work with ABC Products and Drummond Coal. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Myrtice Cleveland; and her son, William Jeffrey Brock. She is survived by her daughter, Janis Lowery; her grandchildren, Nicholas (Sharon) and Kendra; 3 great grandchildren, Brittany, Abbie, Ashley; her sister, Onease (Bobby) Cockrum, of Adamsville; her brothers, Albert C. Cleveland of Cocoa Beach, FL and Elmer B. (Brenda) Cleveland of Adamsville; and a host of niece, nephews, and cousins. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 18, at 12pm at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville. A visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the service at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East.
