Marvis M. Kelley, Jr. 81 of Huntsville passed away peacefully on March 15, 2010 at Floyd E. "Tut" Fann State Veterans Nursing Home in Huntsville AL. Mr. Kelley was a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church, a veteran of the Korean War, a mason, and active at Zamora Shrine Temple for many years. He was well known in the electrical contracting community in the Birmingham area. Proceeded in death by his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Marvis M. Kelly, Sr.; his sister Audell Melton and his first wife, Rebecca Kelley. Survived by his wife of 29 years, Sharon Kelley; three sons, Robert Kelley, William Kelley, Donald Kelley (Kaye); one daughter, Jeannie Fillenwarth (Thomas) ; two step sons, Mark Belle Isle and Michael Belle Isle (Michele); grandchildren, Chris Kelley, Amanda Snow (Daniel), Allan Kelley, Hannah Kelley, Will Kelley, Kyle Kelley, Ryan Kelley, Rebecca Jackson (James), Wesley Harris, Emily Belle Isle, Jonathan Belle Isle, and Daniel Belle Isle. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 18 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, March 19 at 12:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home with Sean Cherry officiating and burial to follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. The family wants to thank the Veterans Administration and the staff at Tut Fann for their tender care during his illness, Wiregrass Hospice and his nurse, Rita Lufrig for their loving care.
