Martha Sizemore

Martha Virginia Sizemore, age 89, of Clay, Alabama passed away on December 3, 2023.  Martha loved to paint as a hobby and enjoyed spending time with her dogs, Charley, and later, Dallas. She enjoyed gardening, hiking, watching her favorite shows, and taking trips to Gatlinburg or the beach. She had a good sense of humor and liked to tell stories. Growing up, she was a member of Hueytown Baptist Church, and then became a member of Clearview Baptist church much later. Martha had a long career as a bookkeeper, before retiring so that she could spend more time with her family. 

Martha is preceded in death by her loving husband Frank Sizemore and son David Swearengin.  She leaves behind her two grandsons, Adam Swearengin and Daniel Swearengin: daughter in law, Vicki Swearengin. 

The family will receive friends, Tuesday, December 12, 2023, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home with a graveside service to follow in the adjoining cemetery.
