Martha Sharit

Martha Whittemore Sharit, age 77, of Springville, AL passed away on July 20, 2011. She was a member of First Baptist Springville. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Hobert Whittemore and E.V. Sharit; parents Catherine and Louie Simmons; sister, Ann Massey. She is survived by her daughters, Catherine Lowry (Ray), and Cyndi Turner (Butch); son, Benny Whittemore (Jan); sisters, Betty Nolan, and Dot Johnson; grandchildren, Amy Boe, Shea Mashburn, Ben Whittemore, Candice Howard, and Adam Butts; great grandchildren, Carlee Alfano, Bethany Boe, Alanna Howard, Daniel Boe, Drake Howard, and Jaysa Butts. Service will be held on Friday, July 22, 2011 at 2:00pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Ed Massey will be officiating. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
