Martha Norris

Martha Kate Trammell Norris: May 22, 1926-May 1, 2013. Martha Kate was born in Trafford, AL. She was the youngest of nine children of Dr. Virgil and Kate Middleton Trammell. She was a wonderful mother, and her life revolved around her three children. Serving others with a generous spirit made everyone around her feel special and loved. She was a member of First Baptist Church Trussville. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband J.O. Norris Jr., and her 8 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children Jimmy (Stephanie), Sally Payne (John), Tram (Donna); her six granddaughters Pamela Smith (Paul), Wendy Mann (Casey), Kristin Fitzpatrick (William), Molly Hasenfuss (Brandon), Allison Norris, Courtney Carlisle (Dan) and five great grandchildren Will and Kate Fitzpatrick, Caroline and Callie Carlisle and Norris Hasenfuss. Chapel services will be Saturday, May 4 at 11am with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be from 10am until 11am Saturday. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
