Martha Greer

Mrs. Martha Sue Greer, age 89, died Monday, January 20, 2014 after an extended illness. Mrs. Greer was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie R. Greer and her son, Edward Ray Greer. Mrs. Greer was a member of the First Baptist Church of Trussville, where she had served as a Sunday school teacher in her earlier years. She loved reading, and enjoyed traveling to places with beaches and sunshine. She especially enjoyed her travels to Florida, Jamaica, Europe and Alaska. Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Jeannie Greer; two grandsons, Kelly (fianceI� Deidra) Greer and David Greer; two great grandchildren, Josephine Grace Greer and Hunter Landon Greer. Services will be 12:00 pm Thursday, January 23, 2014 at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home with no public visitation prior to the services. A private interment will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens with Jefferson Memorial East directing.
