Martha Chaffin

Martha Minton Chaffin, age 82, of Hoover, passed away August 11, 2016. Martha was retired as a branch manager with over 25 years of service at Regions Bank. She was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church, graduate of Piedmont High School and attended Berry College. She was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Jack Chaffin, siblings Louis "Bob", Earl, Billy, Ed Minton, and Louise Minton Honea. Chapel services will be Monday, Aug 15, at 2pm with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be from 1pm until 2pm Monday. She is survived by her sons Robert Jackson Chaffin (Paola), Mark Minton Chaffin (Susan), sister Patti Giamalva, grandchildren Alexandra Mahony (Christopher), Jordan Elizabeth Chaffin, Jacob Tyler Chaffin, and Justin Michael Chaffin.
