Brown, Martha J. Lovelace of Clay, AL formerly of Lipscomb, AL passed away Wednesday April 4, 2012. She was a member of Deerfoot Baptist Church where she taught second grade Sunday School for many years because of her love for children and her desire for them to know and love Jesus Christ. She also started a card ministry to the homebound, nursing home residents and the bereaved; she had over 80 individuals that she sent cards of encouragement to on a regular basis. Martha was preceded in death by Megan Nicole Casey her granddaughter. She is survived by her loving husband Otis "Bo" Brown, her daughter Rebekah Casey (Leo), 3 grandchildren Leslie Casey Sansing (Benji), Matthew Casey (Jeni), Hannah C. Lyons (Dan), A special Godchild April Adams, and her mother Anita Adams, 3 great grand children Claire Casey, Ryan Casey, and Elijah Sansing. After retirement Martha worked part time at The Cafe on Main in Trussville where she enjoyed greeting and conversing with customers for several years. Visitation will be Friday April 6, 2012 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. with the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Visitation and service will be at Deerfoot Baptist Church Trussville, burial will be at the cemetery adjoining the church (Mount Olive Cemetery). Dr Roger Willmore and Dr. Wayne Scott will be officiating. The family would like to thank Dr. Azita Takeshian, Dr. Brian D.
